David & Jordan

David & Jordan were one of the first clients of the firm. I remember receiving an inbound email from David, this was April 10th, 2025.

“I’m considering selling my app. Can you help me get a basic idea of how much I could sell for in the current market?”

I got this email only two weeks after leaving my full-time job, or in other words, just when I started the company. I remember wanting to close them so badly. For comparison, that same week I closed my first sale for $9,900. But David’s app was well above $150K MRR. Only thinking of the deal size gave me thrills. First, on signing David. Second, on actually getting him a good exit. It took multiple emails, and various attempts to an in-person meeting, but we signed. Trimbox was days, nights, and weekends. I remember putting all nighters with outbound from San Francisco, New York, and Bariloche, Argentina. We got not only one but multiple offers, from buyers I couldn’t even believe we were talking to. It was all a fake it till you make it kind of moment but going great; like the luck was on my side on every step of the process. Fast forward an email thread with 100+ emails, muuultiple buyers, offers, and months in the middle, David and Jordan sold in Q4 2025. We celebrating by covering their trip to MAU Vegas, acommodation and tickets included, to meet their buyer, Mode Mobile in person!

Not only they built a great relationship with their buyer, Mode Mobile, but they got interviewed and featured on Business Insider for their exceptional execution skills.

And it’s not only Business Insider impressed with this duo: when I met them, they still had their full time jobs, David at Roblox and Jordan at PayPal, while they were building Trimbox and David had already sold a previous company.

Now, they both left their full-time jobs and are building the next big thing. This time looking for 9 (and why not 10) figures. The 8 are kinda updated for this very-smart two.
